I have worked with dogs and cats for most of my life. I have worked as a professional dog trainer for over 10 years (2 in a class setting and 8 in private lessons), a pet walker/sitter, and dog groomer for several prior to that. Before that I was an avid equestrian with a deep interest in animal behavior and training. People close to me have always told me I have a special knack for working with animals, and I'm really happy to use that to help provide care for your pet family member!
I have three pets; a dog, a cat, and a rabbit. Their names are David Dupupny (Brussels Griffon), Bill Purray (Russian Blue), and Momiji (brown Dutch) respectively.

A couple of the primary authorities I refer back to in training practices are Dr. Ian Dunbar, and Carol Lea Benjamin. There many others that I refer to as authorities on a given particular topic. I believe in personalizing training methods to each householdβs unique situation and pets, which often involves finding a harmony between different methods and philosophies, as well as matching the right pet accessories to that family. I am always updating my practices based on my training experiences and growing knowledge in the area of applied animal behavior, and I love exchanging insight with colleagues. I have never met a trainer who wasnβt effective in their own way, and when families find their right training match, the experience with pet-training helps to create a forever home for their pets. With that being said, I offer some free services to help promote such forever homes. Primarily, I will happily help you find your ideal match in a pet and navigating whatβs involved, whether your adopting or looking for a reliable source with integrity in pet-rearing. Letβs set-up for success in achieving a harmonious household with loved pets.
